PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - An autopsy says a retired East Carolina University professor was shot a dozen times outside his home earlier this year during a triple murder.
Enrique Reyes was one of three people killed on January 10th .
Pitt County Sheriff Paula Dance said they believe the 64-year-old Reyes was shot dead first in the driveway of his Forest Acres Drive home, and then David Lever shot Anthony and Paula Gribble at their home on Peace Ridge Court.
The two homes are some four miles from each other.
The autopsy released Wednesday says Reyes was shot six times to the head and six times to his torso.
Lever is facing three murder counts.
