The spirit of unity and community pride was alive and well on Tuesday evening as the Porterville Police Department hosted its annual National Night Out at Centennial Park. The event, held from 6-9 p.m., brought together families, first responders, and local businesses for an evening full of fun, food, and friendship.

National Night Out is a celebrated nationwide initiative that aims to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. In Porterville, the evening proved to be a vibrant example of that mission, as residents of all ages came out to connect with their local heroes in an informal and welcoming environment.
