SHEEPSHEAD BAY — The Brooklyn Board of Realtors (BBOR), an organization that advocates for realtors and clients to elevate professional competence, is making a concerted effort to encourage face-to-face contact and human interaction.

The BBOR held its third networking event this year, designed to be a vehicle for professional mingling and with fellow real estate professionals, at Clemente’s Crab House, 3939 Emmons Avenue, on July 29. The first event took place earlier this year at Wheeler’s restaurant in Sheepshead Bay and the second at the Salty Dog in Bay Ridge.

At the July event, the BBOR honored Brooklyn-born real estate icon Harriet Robinson, who died in February at 84. Robinson had been a BBOR member since 1980. The audience paid tribute to her, describing Robinson as “smart, d
