With less than two months left in the regular season, the Milwaukee Brewers are flying high, while the Chicago Cubs are stumbling a bit in the MLB playoff standings.

The Brewers, winners of nine of their last 10 games, have surged out to a four-game lead in the National League Central. The Cubs are still comfortably sitting in a playoff spot, but their status has become a bit more shaky in recent weeks, and was impacted again by a 3-3 homestand that saw them lose two-of-three to the Cincinnati Reds.
