PHOENIX — Arizona Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego is set to meet with voters at the Iowa State Fair on Friday, his office has announced.
Gallego's office said the senator will speak to voters about the impacts of the recently passed budget bill.
Following the visit to the state fair, Gallego plans to attend a town hall in Quad Cities.
Visits to Iowa have long been considered an early sign of presidential ambitions because of the early date of the caucuses on the presidential election calendar.
Gallego's Iowa visit comes after a May trip to Pennsylvania and ahead of a trip to New Hampshire later this month.
