AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Senior Citizens Association (ASCA), now known as the 55+ Club of Amarillo, is hosting a parking lot party fundraiser to support its new activities center.

The party takes place on Saturday, August 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 2404 SW 6th Avenue.

Event organizers say the public will get a chance to tour the future senior center.

The parking lot party will feature:

Live music by Geezers Gone Wild

Local food truck, Cocina on the Go

Community booths and sponsor highlights

Prizes and giveaways

Juggling unicyclist

All proceeds from the event will directly support renovations to the new center, which ASCA acquired from Potter County in 2021.
