TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (PIX11) --- New Yorkers can catch live jazz performances for free in the heart of Times Square starting Thursday night.
The Jazz in Times Square lineup features a show at 46th Street and Broadway every Thursday at 5 p.m. in August and September, organizers said.
The series started in 2019 with performances from small ensembles to 21-piece big bands taking the stage at the crossroads of the world.
Here is this year's lineup: • Aug. 7 - Ginita y La Orquesta Esa Big Band • Aug. 14 - King Solomon • Aug. 21 - Antonio Hart Quartet co-presented with the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival • Aug. 28 - Miki Hayama • Sept. 04 - Tony Rosa • Sept. 11 - The Empress • Sept. 18 - Natu Camara • Sept. 25 - Igmar Thomas’ Revive Big Band
