Florida football held its seventh practice on Aug. 7 at the Heavener Football Complex.

In all, the Florida Gators will practice 17 times through August 20 in preparation for the season, which opens on Aug. 30 against Long Island University.

Depite favorable weather, Florida conducted part of its workout indoors at the Gary Condron practice facility, which is adjacent to the Sanders Practice Fields.

Florida is looking to build off an 8-5 season under head coach Billy Napier, who is 19-19 in three years at the helm with UF. The goal for UF is to make more progress and become a College Football Playoff contender in 2025. Florida begins the season at No. 17 in the USLBM preseason Top 25.
