GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A woman was arrested after she reportedly swung a gun and pointed it at people early Thursday morning.
Grand Junction officers responded to the incident in the 2800 block of North Avenue, where they located the suspect and secured the weapon. The firearm was a replica handgun, turning out to be a BB gun, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
The suspect, Diana Digiallonardo, 37, was then taken into custody without further incident. She was transported to the hospital for evaluation and was later booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility for felony menacing and disorderly conduct.
GJPD stated it believes this was an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.
