PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- One person is facing charges after a car became airborne while attempting to flee police, causing it to crash with another vehicle just off Interstate 395 on Wednesday night.
Around 10:30 p.m., a Virginia State Police trooper saw a Honda sedan speeding on Interstate 95 near the 158-mile marker in Prince William County. When the trooper tried to pull the driver over, the vehicle did not stop, and a pursuit began.
The driver continued heading northbound at more than 100 miles per hour before getting on I-395 northbound. After attempting to get on Exit 2A, the suspect lost control on the curve and became airborne. The Honda collided with another vehicle on the road.
Two people in the other car were seriously hurt, both were taken to the hospital,
