CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - An investigation is underway after a man’s body was found in the water along the Carteret County coast.

Sheriff Asa Buck says the body of Kenneth Lewis, who was between 76 and 78 years old, was discovered last night in the Atlantic harbor.

The sheriff says no foul play is suspected, but that an autopsy will be performed on the body to pinpoint the cause of death.
