SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Two state troopers were injured in a shooting Thursday morning in Susquehanna County .
State police say it happened while the troopers were responding to a call along Route 171 in Thompson Township around 11:30 a.m.
Governor Shapiro broke the news during an event in Bucks County, saying he will travel to the area later today.
The troopers were taken to a hospital; there is no word yet on their condition.
A roadblock has been set up at Route 171 and Bethel Hill Road.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area until further notice.
