CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The West Virginia University School of Nursing celebrated a major milestone in Clarksburg Wednesday evening.
WVU’s School of Nursing Bridgeport Campus held its second pinning ceremony Wednesday, honoring its latest class of graduates at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center in downtown Clarksburg.
"So, they are fitting in 18 months what most programs fit into four years. So, they have described it as ‘drinking out of a fire hose,’ trying to keep up with all of the material. Many of them do this while they are working, while they are raising families. So, it is really a tribute to them that they have been able to stick to it and get to this point,” the Chairperson of the WVU Bridgeport School of Nursing Program, Dr. Veronica Gallo, said.
Each graduate recei
