With gratitude to the many people who had a role in the project, the Independence Park boat ramp was officially opened Tuesday, August 5.
Pare Engineering, the Town Council, the Community Development and Zoning Departments, the Harbormaster’s Office, Police, Fire, Public Works, East Coast Construction, and the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank were all acknowledged by Town Administrator Steven Contente in his brief opening remarks.
