Seattle police officers assigned to the Community Response Group (CRG) arrested an armed felon during a drug bust in Belltown last night.

On Aug. 6 at about 8:00 p.m., CRG officers, conducting narcotics operations in the 200 block of Blanchard Street, saw a suspect dealing drugs. According to the police report, they “observed a hand-to-hand transaction where the suspect traded narcotics for currency.”

CRG quickly arrested the 42-year-old man. During his arrest, officers recovered:

0.1g Fentanyl

7.5g Morphine pills

Handgun

$80 cash

CRG booked the suspect into King County Jail for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Sale and Delivery of Controlled Substance.
