ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — LiDestri Foods announced a $30 million investment into its Rochester campus, aiming to create a “super plant” that will enhance production capabilities and support the company’s national growth strategy.
The company’s 1.5 million-square-foot facility on Lee Road in Greece will see new technology upgrades and expanded operations, including additional production lines focused on specialty and kettle-cooked items, as well as automated club-size packaging.
LiDestri, a family-owned company headquartered in Rochester, is the largest U.S. manufacturer of pasta sauces. It also produces dips, salsas and other food products for many of the top 10 food companies in the country.
