WASHINGTON — A bizarre battle is brewing after toy maker Mattel filed a copyright complaint with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office against the D.C.-based political podcast Coffee with Ken . The show is hosted by Ken Bibiraj. He filed to trademark the name of his podcast, and Mattel objected.

According to the lawsuit , Mattel was concerned that viewers might mistake Bibiraj's local show with the toy giant's Barbie franchise character Ken. Mattel argues that it could potentially damage the brand.
