CARROLL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A 26-year-old man from Taneytown is facing more than a dozen counts of child pornography in Carroll County.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Larry Hunter Jennings, 26, was charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography and ten counts of distribution of child pornography.

The charges stemmed from an investigation that began in June 2025 into the possession of child sexual abuse material online, where the evidence of distribution was also discovered.

Around 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, Carroll County Advocacy and Investigation Center detectives executed a search warrant at Jennings' home. There, authorities seized electronic devices to be evaluated for further forensic analysis.
