IONIA COUNTY, MI -- A Grand Rapids woman who crashed a charter bus on I-96 in March, injuring students on a Grand Rapids Civic Theater field trip, is accused of impaired driving .
Angela Fitzgerald, 45, was arraigned Wednesday, Aug. 6 in Ionia County District Court.
She is charged with two felonies and six misdemeanors, including operating while intoxicated causing serious injury.
State police said the crash happened about 6:55 a.m. March 29 on eastbound I-96 near Kent Street.
The bus, carrying 11 students and four adults traveling to Ohio, veered off the road and struck a guardrail.
Police said one student was seriously injured and three others had minor injuries.
