DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) -- Deputies in Dorchester County are asking for the public's help to identify the body of a Black man found in rural Harleyville.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office was called to a location on White House Pond Road on Sunday, Aug. 3, the agency said.

When law enforcement arrived, they found the body of an unknown man. He is believed to have been between 18 and 25 years old when he died and about six feet one inch tall, weighing around 190 pounds.

The two forensic sketches are what the man is believed to have looked like when he died. The sheriff's office is encouraging the public to share the images in hopes of identifying the deceased.
