LAKE MILLS, Iowa (KCRG) - An Iowa elementary and middle school gym teacher is facing charges including sexual exploitation of a minor.

37-year-old Skyer Ahrens, of Forest City is facing multiple charges including sexual exploitation of a minor after engaging with an undercover cop posing as a minor, according to court documents.

Ahrens is an elementary and middle school gym teacher for Lake Mills Community Schools. He is also a track and field coach.

According to court documents, a Winnebago County deputy posed as a 15-year-old girl on Reddit. Ahrens began chatting with the undercover officer.

Police say the undercover officer made multiple statements claiming to be 15 years old.
