WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning on the Ohio Turnpike in Superior Township, Williams County.

This crash happened around 11:40 a.m. According to a press release from the Swanton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2021 Freightliner commercial tractor-trailer was traveling west on the Ohio Turnpike when a 2013 Ford Edge hit the tractor-trailer's rear.

After colliding with the tractor-trailer, the Ford took off to the left side of the road and overturned in the median. A passenger from the Ford was ejected upon impact.

The 42-year-old tractor-trailer driver from Plainfield, Illinois, was not injured. However, the 19-year-old Ford driver from Burbank, Ohio, and the 19-year-old Ford passenger from West Salem, Ohio, were taken to the
