Roma's Italian Kitchen took National Lasagna Day to give back to a good cause.

And on Thursday, Scott Enterprises was pleased to announce that they donated $2,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

On National Lasagna Day, the Italian restaurant donated $2 from every order of its signature dish.

Nick Scott Sr., president and owner of Scott Enterprises, said that they have been pleased to support the foundation for over 30 years.

"Well, we want to give back to the community, so we have a number of charities that we champion, and we try to help make progress, and so, the Erie Community Foundation coming up, we'll be participating in that also," Scott said.

Currently, there are 26 children awaiting their wishes in the Greater Erie region.
