Dothan, Ala. (WDHN) -- Effective Monday, August 11, 2025, Dothan Leisure Services will be temporarily closing Connector B (500s Boardwalk) at the Forever Wild Trails.

The areas surrounding markers 500, 510, and 520 will be closed for construction and upgrades to the boardwalk.

This closure affects access to the following trail sections from the North and West Trailheads: 600s Zion Cemetery Ridge 700s Big Levee Big Levee Advanced 800s / S.A.M.’s Creekside Trail

These trails remain accessible from the East Trailhead, located off Fortner Street.

Trails on the west side of the map will remain open and are reachable from both the North and West Trailheads. These include: 100s Beaver Tail Flats 200s Connector A 300s Stagecoach Plateau Wall Ride Loop 400s Dragon’s Tail and 400A Dragon’s Tail
