WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. - There is a heavy police presence at a Mercer County hotel Thursday afternoon.

Information is currently limited, but Mercer County dispatchers confirmed with 21 News that officers with the West Middlesex Police Department, as well as troopers with Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are at the Park Inn by Radisson in West Middlesex.

SWAT units are also at the scene and the coroner has just been called. Sources tell 21 News this was an officer-involved shooting. Our sources tell us an officer was not shot.

Our 21 News crew at the scene saw police bringing a stretcher into the hotel.

21 News has sent a crew to the hotel to gather more information. We will release more information as it becomes available.
