A new employee will help Trafalgar residents better connect with their government.
The town recently announced the appointment of Jodi Alvey to fill a newly created position of Civic Support Coordinator.
The salary ordinance amendment was approved at the council’s June meeting, and a title change from administrative assistant and changing the title to Civic Support Coordinator was approved in July.
Council president Jessica Jones said the position was originally budgeted by a previous council as a “part-time” item, with the intent of providing support to the Clerk-Treasurer’s office.
