HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Hopkins County Humane Society (HCHS) has adopted out all of the remaining animals, and can now start tearing down the old building.

The animal shelter says every single animal that remained in its care has been adopted. Now, the shelter is turning the page and beginning the rebuild process.

HCHS requests the following: • For people to spay and neuter their pets. • For people to make sure their pets are microchipped. • For people to keep a close eye on their pets.

A spokesperson for HCHS says, "We’ve come this far because of you. Together, we can weather this storm and come out stronger on the other side."
