FAIRLEA, WV (WVNS) -- Guests at the State Fair of West Virginia have the chance to access health screenings thanks to the Vandalia Health CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
According to a press release, the Vandalia Health CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center residents are conducting health screenings, including A1C and lipid screenings, throughout the duration of the State Fair of West Virginia.
Screenings for A1C are conducted to measure blood glucose levels, which allow doctors to detect and diagnose prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, the release stated. Lipid screenings measure cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.
The press release stated that attendees interested in visiting the mobile unit will be able to find it on Blue Ribbon Drive located near the agriculture an
