This afternoon features plenty of sunshine with high pressure and general ridging taking place across much of the eastern US. A weak trough over the Shenandoah Valley in combination with slightly more heat and humidity could instigate an isolated shower or two across the high country in Greenbrier and Pocahontas Counties, however elsewhere we will be dry. Temperatures will rebound to close to average levels with highs around 80 degrees.

Tonight provides partly to mostly clear skies. Patchy fog will be possible similar to what we saw this morning with low temperatures dipping back into the upper 50s. Enjoy the cool and crisp nights continuing through this weekend - next week will be more humid.

Saturday continues the nice weather pattern - a pattern that will continue through the weekend.
