MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont officials are working on a plan to bring more state employees back to the office.

Thousands of workers have had some kind of remote or hybrid work schedule since the pandemic.

But Governor Phil Scott on Thursday said they plan to bring more state employees back into the office in the coming months, although many will continue to have remote options.

“There is a bit of a loss of the camaraderie. In some of getting people back together... Some people do it well and some don’t. We just think it’s time,” Scott said.
