PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A suspect is in custody following a reported robbery at a credit union on the south side of Pueblo last week.

According to the Pueblo Police Department, dispatch received a call reporting an armed robbery of a credit union in the 2800 block of South Prairie Avenue, near South Prairie and Pueblo Boulevard, at around 2:20 p.m. on July 31.

When officers arrived on scene, they learned a man had approached a teller, placed a manilla envelope on the counter and told the teller to “fill it up.” Officers said the man warned the teller not to press any buttons or take any actions that could escalate the situation, and the teller complied and filled the envelope with cash.
