TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - As the new school year begins, the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) is making strides to improve student health services with the full implementation of the SNAP Parent Portal.
Launched in March 2025, this online tool is part of TUSD's electronic health record (EHR) system. It allows parents and guardians to easily share and update their child's health information and communicate directly with school health staff.
Officials said the EHR system is helpful as it keeps student heath information safe and organized.
