WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Police arrested one person after a business in Northeast D.C. was burglarized in July.

The Metropolitan Police Department said that on July 14, a bit after 12:30 a.m., a suspect went into a business in the 500 block of 3rd St. NE.

The suspect stole money from a safe before leaving.

On Aug. 6, officers arrested 24-year-old Larry Buckner of Northeast, D.C., and charged him with burglary two.

MPD said that Buckner used to work at the business that he allegedly stole from.
