MUSKEGON, Mich. — If you're anywhere near Muskegon Lake this weekend, you're likely to hear the songs from Unity Christian Music Festival reverberating across the water from Heritage Landing.
Throughout the four-day festival, 20+ Christian music artists will take the stage at the lakeside venue.
The festival kicked off with Day Zero on Wednesday, a day when entry is free for all attendees. It will continue with performances every night, ending with the last night on Saturday.
Tammy Gabbour was out at the festival on Thursday and said it was her third year attending.
"It fills my soul," said Gabbour. "The music just, it carries me for the year."
Gabbour said that despite the heat, the uplifting experience is worth it.
