Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets, a family-run business in Edinboro, has been acquired by Vertiv, a global supplier of digital infrastructure, for $200 million.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets, which has been operating for 40 years and employs 200 people in Edinboro. The company specializes in manufacturing data racks used to mount communications equipment essential for powering the internet and supporting AI data centers.
