NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The doors to a south Nashville bar are chained shut after being deemed a public nuisance by Metro Police.
Early Friday morning, dozens of officers arrived at 404 Bar and Grill to carry out the court order.
“We want everyone to be well and really have that positive quality of life and this business just was not interested in that,” Metro Police Commander Sean Richmond explained.
Authorities say over five years, they have been called out to the bar more than 120 times for crimes like shootings, stabbings and drug-related offenses.
During one of those incidents, MNPD claims an officer was shot at by an alleged MS-13 gang member.
