OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A truck simulator that could be coming to Oklahoma will help train the workforce of the future. It aims at giving students insight into jobs with technology, manufacturing, and construction.

It's part of Be Pro Be Proud, which launched in Arkansas in 2016 by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce.

Lawmakers and business leaders in Oklahoma got to check it out on Thursday to see if it's something that could be brought in for Oklahoma schools.

The State Chamber of Commerce said by introducing these skills to students, people and jobs will stay in the state.
