CRESSON, Pa. (WTAJ) — A new program at Mount Aloysius College is taking college courses to a new level.
All students can now enroll in two drone pilot programs to get certified as licensed drone pilots. The programs, in partnership with Aerium, also have focused topics on criminal justice, cybersecurity and marketing.
"Most industries are using drones in one way or another now," David Haschak, the vice president of academic affairs, said. "Anything from forestry to inspecting the railways, emergency medicine, communications, advertising, sales, you name it. Most fields are using drones in one capacity or another."
