ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Thursday, more than 400 students with special needs participated in an outdoor celebration at School 45, organized by the RCSD's Extended School Year Program in partnership with Special Olympics.
The event featured a variety of activities, including sports, carnival games, and a parade, designed to keep students inspired and engaged during the summer.
The celebration is a tradition that helps students in the Extended School Year Program stay active and healthy. It also serves as an opportunity for the community to show support and care for students with special needs.
