(WHTM) -- One of the best state parks in Pennsylvania is right here in the Midstate, according to a recent report by HomeToGo.

The website ranked 100 of the most affordable options for state park stays in the country. Eight were in the Keystone State, including the top park, Ohiopyle State Park in Fayette County.

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources touted the rankings Thursday.

“It is wonderful to have the value of Ohiopyle and our state parks recognized in this way,” said DCNR State Parks Director John Hallas, who previously managed Ohiopyle. “Our system is second to none and we appreciate the word getting out about several of the state parks in our system.
