SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Police in San Francisco are looking for a suspect in a daylight shooting that left one person injured in the Tenderloin Thursday afternoon. According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Jones Street at around 12:20 p.m.

At the scene, officers found a victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and the victim was transported to the hospital where they are in "unknown medical condition," police said.

Investigating officers were told that the suspect fled into a nearby building located on Jones Street. Police are still searching for the suspect.
