HENDERSON ( FOX5 ) — Police said an unborn baby died after a July crash in Henderson.
Henderson Police and Fire responded on July 28 just before 9:30 p.m. to Anthem Highlands and Democracy drives where a crash occurred.
Police said a Chevrolet Blazer traveling southbound on Anthem Highlands Drive crossed over a median, continued through the intersection at Democracy Drive, went over a sidewalk, landscaping, and hit a brick wall head-on.
Police transported the driver, who was pregnant, to an area hospital for further medical treatment. Henderson Police’s fatal investigators were later told that the baby did not survive the crash.
Police say speed and impairment were not factors in the crash. This marks the seventh fatality in Henderson Police’s jurisdiction.
