Saint Francis tops area health systems in annual federal rankings

Saint Francis Health System set the pace for Tulsa-area hospitals in an annual federal hospital quality report released this week.

Saint Francis earned its highest-ever ratings from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in its latest hospital rankings .

They included 4-star ratings for Saint Francis Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee and Saint Francis Hospital Vinita, and a 5-star rating — CMS' highest quality designation — for Saint Francis Hospital South.

Among other area hospitals in the rankings, Ascension St. John Medical Center received 2 stars, Ascension St. John Broken Arrow 5, Hillcrest Medical Center 3, Hillcrest Hospital South 4 and OSU Medical Center 2.
