GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Two iconic tall ships are in Grand Haven this weekend, offering the community a chance to experience maritime history firsthand.

The 80-foot Schooner "When And If," originally built in 1939 for General George S. Patton, and the 115-foot Schooner "Liberty Clipper," widely known as "Boston’s Tall Ship," will visit Grand Haven from Aug. 7 through 10.

Docked at 1 N Harbor Dr, there will be a series of ticketed sailing adventures people can take part in.

Visitors can embark on a Day Sail starting at $75 per person, or take a Sunset or Twilight Sail starting at $95 per person.

Each sailing trip will offer a hands-on experience where guests can help hoist the sails, explore the decks and take in the view.
