As it says in the name, CelebrateErie is a way to celebrate all things Erie, from the local vendors selling their craft to the local artists showcasing their talent.

The three-day festival will be taking over downtown Erie on August 15-17, with big crowds expected to come see all the event has to offer.

"You can expect a lot of local performances. You can expect a lot of local vendors, food, a lot of different people. We're actually showcasing some local businesses on State Street as well. Lots of new talent to the area as well, so we're very excited about it," said Gabi Watson, City of Erie Events Manager.

This year's music headliners include country singer Russell Dickerson, rap-rock band Gym Class Heroes, and two cover bands performing songs from the Beatles and Bob Dylan.
