ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - On Cumberland Parkway in Atlanta, a popular Mexican grill missed its mark on a recent health inspection, but management was more than prepared for an unannounced visit by Atlanta News First.
The regional manager of Willy’s Mexicana Grill came outside to greet us and discuss the health violations.
“Unfortunately, this is just one of those days that this happened and it should have never happened. We totally took responsibility for it,” Willy’s Regional Manager Munir Adam said.
Willy’s failed a routine health inspection on Aug. 1 with 58 points and a “U” for unsatisfactory. The report says chicken, rice, black beans and cheese were at unsafe temperatures. Plus, an employee touched his pants and then prepared a salad without washing his hands, and there
