INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Statehouse was the center of attention on Thursday as Vice President JD Vance visited with Governor Mike Braun.

While few people saw Vance, many had their own opinions about redistricting talks. In the Statehouse rotunda, hundreds of people gathered and many had signs.

Kevin Galley moved to Indiana in 2018 from Wisconsin. He is a retired attorney and registered Democrat. He said it was important for his voice to be heard on Thursday at the Statehouse.

He talked about President Donald Trump saying the GOP is entitled to congressional seats in Texas, and the next step is in Indiana. That concept of entitlement, he said, was what brought him to the Statehouse in opposition.
