NEWAYGO COUNTY, MI — A 24-year-old man from White Cloud had no pulse when he was pulled from the water by first-responders Thursday afternoon.
Life-saving measures were successfully rendered and the man regained his pulse before being air-lifted to a Grand Rapids hospital in critical condition.
The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Big Prairie and Croton Township fire departments, were called to Operator’s Village Day Park, on the east side of Hardy Dam, shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, for a possible drowning, a news release from the sheriff’s office states.
