COLORADO (KKTV) - A driver on I-70 in Arapahoe County was arrested on several charges last week after a witness called *277 to report erratic behavior and a child who appeared to be in distress in the back seat.

Colorado State Patrol said dispatchers received a concerned call on July 29 about a suspected impaired driver on westbound I-70 near Deer Trail.

Officials said the caller reported that the driver had just left a gas station in a green Volvo station wagon with no license plates and a gas pump nozzle hanging from the vehicle. Troopers also said the caller reported seeing a child in the car who appeared to be screaming for help and told dispatch that the driver appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
