COVINGTON, Tenn. (WMC) - A house caught on fire early Wednesday morning. The Covington Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

Around 4:00 a.m., CPD and Covington Fire Department personnel arrived on the scene on the 1500 block of Roane Street.

Officers found the home fully engulfed in flames. No one was inside the home at the time.

CFD was able to extinguish the fire and prevent any flames from damaging the surrounding homes.

Neighbors provided the authorities with surveillance videos that showed a vehicle seen in the neighborhood between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
